You can find answers about this under “Path to drivers licence”
Validity of learner's licenses:

after visiting and confirming the practical
Basic training.

The validity of the learner's license expires if:
a) the holder has failed the driving test three times in a row and the licensing authority denies the applicant's fitness to drive based on a test;
b) the apprenticeship relationship is terminated before the truck driver apprentice reaches the age of 18.
You can only apply for a second learner's license if you are considered fit to drive based on a test by the licensing authority or if you have not yet exhausted all testing options after the validity of the first learner's license has expired. The licensing authority imposes any requirements.
No. The learner's license is only valid in Switzerland.
According to the latest calculations by the Driving Instructors Association, prices are between CHF 96 and CHF 112 per 50-minute lesson. The range of commercially calculated prices should do justice to the individual cost structure.
Yes. From January 1, 2021, you can drive a car with a suitable companion at the age of 17. At the end of 2018, the Federal Council lowered the age for obtaining a learner's license to 17. This was preceded by the decision that people under 20 must now undergo twelve months of “driving experience” with accompanied practice drives before they can take the practical car test.
There is no such obligation in Switzerland. You are allowed to take the driving test if you are admitted to the car test and you have the necessary driving skills to pass the test.
One of the most frequently asked questions at the start of training. Unfortunately I don't have a crystal ball that I can ask questions. The
average in the canton of ZH is +/- 30 driving lessons.
Definitely! Do as many practice rides as possible. Privately, you should practice exactly what you learned from the driving instructor and what he/she gave you as tasks. For these practice drives you must always carry your learner's license with you and place the “L” clearly visible on the back of the vehicle. Your training vehicle must have a working parking brake/handbrake, which is easily accessible from the passenger seat. The accompanying person must also be at least 23 years old and have a definitive category B driving license.
The practical driving test in the canton of Zurich takes around 45 to 55 minutes and is carried out by a trained traffic expert from the Road Traffic Office.
Basically, when taking the car test, you drive in your usual driving school vehicle, in which you completed your driving lessons.
The driving test, like any other, is a test of whether you have learned and practiced. So if you have learned and practiced, you don't need to be afraid of the exam - just like at school - see the exam as an opportunity to show that you can move independently, compliantly, safely, fluently and ecologically in traffic. Perform all maneuvers without hindrance or danger - no better and no worse than you learned from me.
I will give you plenty of tips and tricks during your driving training and during the warm-up before the test.
This option is always possible. The better prepared you are, the lower your chances of failing.
You must complete the WAB course within the first 12 months after passing the driving test. For this course I recommend the DriveZ in Dübendorf. Once you have completed your driving training with me, you will receive a voucher worth CHF 40 that you can redeem at DriveZ.
After passing the test, you will receive your probationary driving license (FAP). This so-called FAP has an “expiry date” (see section 4a on the front).
