With the introduction of the Category B learner's license for those aged 17 and over (since January 1, 2021), a mandatory learning phase (driving practice) of 12 months was introduced.
This compulsory driving practice begins on the date the theory test is passed for all people who are between 17 and 20 years old on the day of the test.
Here the date of birth is not the year of birth!
Tip: If you turn 20 this year, take the theory test AFTER your 20th birthday. Otherwise you have to go through the mandatory learning phase of 12 months!
