Take the printed, completed learner driving application with you to the eye test. The ophthalmologist or optician will enter the results of your eye test on it and confirm this. To confirm of your identity, you must go to the municipal administration or the road traffic office to have your identity confirmed in person on the learner driving application. Take your identity card/passport with you!

Once you have completed the VKU course and are ready to take the exam, I can register you for the practical driving test (as long as the statutory learning phase of 12 months has been reached). After passing your driving test, you will receive your probationary driving license.
The mandatory further training has been shortened from two (2) to one (1) days and must be completed in the first year after the driving test. It includes practical exercises and experiencing driving situations under realistic conditions.
